Introduction: about the sex determination

When we look at your cot when you were a baby, the first question that comes from the family is: ‘Is it a girl or a boy? And even if the rule is not so clear in absolute terms, we can still determine in humans that the baggage of sex chromosomes determines the fact of being a girl (XX) or a boy (XY)… The real question is: ‘Is it the same for all species?’.
